*The following is a translation in Portuguese of our A Beginner’s Guide To Neil Gaiman feature. Thank you to reader Pati Fimbrethil for the translation!

I would suggest that you get a better translation, because this one is so bad it looks like an automated translation (e.g. done by Google’s language tools).
Bacana a iniciativa, independente de alguns erros de concordância do português (pois eu te garanto que tem muito brasileiro dito “escolarizado” que os comete em muito maior número).
Ganhaste um seguidor.

For the Portuguese-speaking visitors to Geeks of Doom: I am the site’s editor. I do not speak or read Portuguese, but I have been using a translator to read your Comments and I thank you for them.
This article was NOT entirely translated by an automated translator. A Portuguese-speaking fan of our site was nice enough to spend the time to translate this article for Portuguese-speaking fans of Neil Gaiman and for people wanting to learn more about the author.
But WE did translate a few sentences using an automatic translator, like the opening sentence, because we added them in. There were also one or two sentences within the story that we also added in. We did this because at the time of publication, we did not have someone to check it for us. We did not intend to offend anyone with the translation. As soon as we can, we will have our added sentences checked over and revised.
You may have noticed that we're now AD FREE! Please support Geeks of Doom by using the Amazon Affiliate link above. All of our proceeds from the program go toward maintaining this site.

Tche, eu concordo muito contigo! Eu sinto pena e inveja de quem ainda não conhece o Gaiman, é tão único quando se lê o primeiro trabalho dele, seja quadrinho, conto ou romance… Fico feliz por teres feito isso, e espero que tua iniciativa traga mais e mais e mais fãs pra ele e que, talvez, o traga ao Brasil. Seria sonhar demais feira do livro de Porto Alegre? xD Não custa nada…
Bons sonhos.
