  |  @   |

Summit Entertainment has released new outdoor banner art for the three main character groups in The Twilight Saga: New Moon.

Check out the three new banners here below (click images to get the full, larger version).

The new banners for the upcoming Twilight sequel each present a main group from the film: The Cullens, which has the vampire family along with Edward and Bella (Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart) at the forefront; the Wolf Pack, led by Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner); and the Volturi vampire clan, which includes Dakota Fanning as Jane and Michael Sheen as Aro.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon hits theaters on November 20, 2009.

  1. If Geeks of Doom is going to catalog, rehash and dissect every promotional instance that the Twilight saga is going to unleash on the public, I’m move to boycott this website. Back to SuperHeroHype I go.

  2. Oh no, not you too Devon! No need to boycott, but at least give us some leeway, lol. I would not say that Geeks of Doom is cataloging, rehashing, and dissecting every promotional instance of the Twilight saga. It’s definitely not getting more coverage than everything else, but hey, it’s the news and a lot of our readers want it.

But, I think I’m going to boycott SuperHeroHype if they continue to cover Hancock 2.

  3. Geeks of Doom- Twilight (never cared)

Superhero Hype- Iron Man 2 (made me stop caring)

But boy how dowdy, GoD gets a lot of unfair criticism.

  4. I love this site and i certainly dont think there is an unfair edge to the Twilight coverage. If anything, its underplayed (yay!)

    Keep up the great work!

  5. Thank you, Joseph and Naazneen! It’s not like we’re covering Twilight excessively; I think it’s a lot less than other movie sites actually and I think we’re doing it fairly. Some sites cover every little bit yet they trash the hell out of it, which means they’re only covering it for the google hits.

And, I’ve covered Twilight since before the movie phenomenon hit when it was just another vampire book being adapted into a movie. My teenage niece had read the first book the year before the movie was announced and only I found out about the movie when I was looking for the second book to buy her. I cover the movie news for so long and then at the Comic-Con 2008 is when everything blew up. So, I’m not going to stop covering it just because it’s popular now.

I really shouldn’t have to explain myself, but Devon is one of our loyal readers (or he was, lol) and he leaves productive comments all the time. So, I thought I’d address it.

  6. Why is it that people think their opinion is the etched in stone truth, and that no one else is allowed to enjoy things that they hate?

    Such ignorance is shameful.

I have no attraction to Twilight, either, but that doesn’t mean its hordes of fans don’t want to read and enjoy its progresses.

Openly admitting that scrolling past something you don’t hold interest in is beyond your physical capability levels is a little weak.

If you don’t like something, skip on to the stories that interest you — easy pie.

  7. This site does very well for covering everything they can. Twilight is a big thing now and very popular so why wouldnt there be coverage? GoD is doing an awesome job … Keep up the good work!
