Shia LaBeouf Claims ‘Transformers 3’ Will Be Better; Alan Tudyk Joins Cast
  |  @   |

Things are starting to get rolling on Transformers 3, and as you all know, a lot of work must be done in order to make up for what we were given in the first sequel, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

To helps fans start to get excited, some casting and talking has occurred this week, and both are worth peek and a read.

To start things off, The Wrap is reporting that fan-favorite Alan Tudyk has joined the cast of the third movie. It’s not known who the Firefly, Dollhouse, and V star will be playing in the movie, but he’s always a welcome addition to any movie being made. The actor joins fellow newcomers John Malkovich, Frances McDormand, and Ken Jeong Join who were cast in March, as well as Grey’s Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey.

In addition to the exciting castings so far, star Shia LaBeouf has also been talking about the next chapter and his thoughts on the last film, including the fans’ disdain.

LaBeouf, while speaking to the Associated Press (via Huffington Post) at the Cannes Film Festival where his Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps is screening, started by agreeing with those who disliked Revenge of the Fallen.

When I saw the second movie, I wasn’t impressed with what we did. There were some really wild stunts in it, but the heart was gone; we got lost.

We tried to get bigger. It’s what happens to sequels. It’s like, how do you top the first one? You’ve got to go bigger. Mike went so big that it became too big, and I think you lost the anchor of the movie. … You lost a bit of the relationships. Unless you have those relationships, then the movie doesn’t matter. Then it’s just a bunch of robots fighting each other.

And how is director Michael Bay and team going to step it up to try and regain the love that the first movie possessed?

There’s going to be a lot of death, human death. This time, they’re targeting humans. It’s going to be the craziest action movie ever made, or we failed.

Transformers 3 is currently getting ready to enter into production, and a current release date of July 1, 2011.

Regardless of whether I’m interested in Transformers, why would I want to anticipate a trailer for this film or any film in fact
I’m not a fan of all this silly hype
