Towel Day 2010
  |  @   |

May 25th is Towel Day!

If you don’t know what Towel Day is then chances are you don’t know that you should be carrying a towel around with you today in honor of the late great author Douglas Adams and his brilliant book The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.

If you are a fan of the book, then you know the importance and usefulness of carrying around a towel.

This year marks the 10th annual celebration of this international event. Check out towelday.org to find out about Towel Day events happening around the world.

If you Twitter about how you’re celebrating, but sure to include the hashtag #towelday in your tweets — and include some pics too! You can also follow @towelday on Twitter.
