Halo: Reach is a highly anticipated game for the Xbox 360. Halo: Fall of Reach is a best-selling novel based in the Halo universe that tells about the creation of Master Chief, the protagonist in the first three Halo games. Why stop with just two high selling properties? In September, we will see the premiere of Halo: Fall of Reach “Boot camp #1″ from Marvel Comics and 343 Industries.
The comic will basically retell the same story told in the novel from a few years back. The writer for the series will be Brian Reed, with the art done by Felix Ruiz.
I can’t say that I’m surprised as there have already been comics based on the Halo world that have sold fairly well. The story is actually pretty cool. Apparently the people that went into the Spartan II program, like Master Chief, were kidnapped as children and turned into fighting machines. If done right it could be a cool compliment to the game, and book, and action figure, and lunch box, and”¦ you get the idea.
