Geek Gear: Humpty Dumpty ‘Tetris’
  |  @   |

There’s a brand new t-shirt design up for sale over at TeeFury, and today’s design mixes fairy tales with true geek video game nostalgia.

The shirt is called “Told You So,” and it takes the Humpty Dumpty fable and begs the question: “Just HOW did Humpty fall off of that wall?” The answer here, happens to be that he was sitting on a wall consisting of classic Nintendo Tetris blocks, and we all know what happens when you fill in a section of Tetris blocks. Silly Humpty.

As always, the shirt is available for the flat rate steal of $9, and comes in sizes small, medium, large, and extra large for men and women, as well as a XXL size for the larger gentlemen.

If you dig the design, you can go and get your hands on one right now. But remember, this shirt will only available for today, December 2, 2010, until midnight tonight EST. If you miss this one-day bubble, the shirt will be gone forever and you shall weep.

Today’s TeeFury design comes from Chad Manzo, who explains how he came up with the idea for this shirt:

Told You So is basically a “what if” scenario that has been playing around in my head for a bit of a while now. I’ve always been a big fan of NES games and nursery rhymes, so this seems like a perfect marriage of my major influences. No one knows how or why Humpty Dumpty had the “great” fall. Perhaps I may be on to something here. hmmmmm….
