The most wonderful time of the year is once again upon us. The Christmas season is here and with that comes Christmas TV episodes!

For the 25 days leading up til Christmas Day this month, we’ll be spotlighting some of the best Christmas-themed episodes from some of Geek culture’s greatest shows. Each day we’ll cover different shows and episodes and encourage you to watch along with us. So come one, come all, to the 25 Days of Geek TV Christmas!

Wednesday, December 15th, 2010 – Day 15: How I Met Your Mother

Season 1, Episode 11: “The Limo”
Directed by: Pamela Fryman
Written by: Sam Johnson & Chris Marcil
Starring: Josh Radnor, Jason Segel, Cobie Smulders, Neil Patrick Harris, Alyson Hannigan, and Kathleen Rose Perkins
Original Air Date: December 19, 2005

You can also purchase a copy of the episode at Amazon or iTunes.

While “The Limo” isn’t specifically a Christmas episode, New Year’s Eve is often associated with Christmas time. “The Limo” is a ridiculously nuts episode that is just tons of fun, much like most of H.I.M.Y.M. So snag your “Get Psyched” mix and get ready to ring in the New Year with Lily, Marshall, Barney, Robin, and Ted.

Official Description:
Ted surprises his friends with a styling and well-planned out New Year’s Eve excursion around the Big Apple. As Lily, Marshall, Barney and Robin are chauffeured around town in a limo hired by Ted, the night takes some interesting twists and turns – and when the clock strikes twelve, Ted may end up getting that kiss he has been longing for.

Join us tomorrow for a classic holiday episode of How I Met Your Mother and let us know what you thought of “The Limo.”
