Each day we’ll cover different shows and episodes and encourage you to watch along with us. So come one, come all, to the 25 Days of Geek TV Christmas!
Saturday, December 19th, 2010 – Day 19: The West Wing
You can purchase a copy of the episode at Amazon or iTunes.
One of my favorite episodes of TV of all time, “In Excelsis Deo” is beautifully scripted by Aaron Sorkin and Rick Cleveland and expertly directed by Alex Graves. Just as a bit of backstory on this episode, this episode won an Emmy for Best Writing in a Drama Series and Richard Schiff the Emmy for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. I don’t want to give too much away about the episode outside of the official description, but know this episode is powerful and emotionally riveting. A must watch.
Official Description:
Amid Christmas preparations, Toby tries to arrange burial for a homeless Korean War veteran found dead with Toby’s business card in his pocket, while Danny Concannon and C.J. discuss the possibility of a first date.
Join us tomorrow for another classic holiday episode of The West Wing and let us know what you thought of “In Excelsis Deo.”
