‘Fallout: New Vegas’ Game Add-On Available Now

The first downloadable add-on for Fallout: New Vegas is out today. The pack is called Dead Money and it puts you on a trail for a lost treasure.

Just like the add-ons for Fallout 3, this is an Xbox exclusive through Xbox LIVE, for the time being. As with the last game, I expect this to hit all other platforms eventually.

The main game, Fallout: New Vegas, is currently being offered on Amazon as part of their Buy 2 for $79 deal.

Here’s the official description of Dead Money:

As the victim of a raw deal you must work alongside three other captured wastelanders to recover the legendary treasure of the Sierra Madre Casino. In Dead Money, your life hangs in the balance as you face new terrain, foes, and choices. It is up to you how you play your cards in the quest to survive.

Having played all of the add-ons for Fallout 3 I will definitely be picking this up, eventually. With all the great games that are out I have barely been able to scratch the surface of the latest Fallout. The add-ons for Fallout 3 really added some variety to the game, and with the promise of “new terrain and foes” I expect the add-ons for New Vegas to do the same.

Dead Money will set you back 800 Microsoft points, or 10 bucks hard currency.
