The first image of the cast of MGM’s ’80s movie remake, Red Dawn, has shown up online. It’s unclear where the picture comes from, when it was taken, or how official it is, but it’s definitely the cast dressed for the part.
In the picture you’ll see some of the stars like Chris Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Adrianne Palicki, Isabel Lucas, Edwin Hodge, and Alyssa Diaz as they do their best to mirror stars of the original movie like Patrick Swayze, Charlie Sheen, Leah Thomson, Jennifer Grey, and C. Thomas Howell.

As many of you know, MGM has faced many financial troubles lately, so no one knows exactly when Red Dawn will be released. But unlike the fear that movies like The Hobbit or the next James Bond would never happen, it’s said that this one is already completed for the most part — just needs to be released.

official cast photo. Maybe a test photo for makeup.
Some rumors are suggesting the film will be released
March 25th 2011, and others say it will be released sometime
after Thor is released which is in May. But who knows.
It is getting closer though. The film has been rated PG-13,
MGM is getting itself out of its money problems, and now these
photos are surfacing. WOLVERINES!!!!!!!

I heard that this film has been completed for awhile, but MGM hasn’t had the money to release it.
