New ‘Doctor Who’ Wallpapers & Screensavers
  |  @   |

The BBC has added some exclusive new Doctor Who desktop wallpapers and screensavers, which are available for download for free right now.

The new images were designed by Stuart Manning and the themes are from Season 5 Doctor Who episodes.

So far there’s four wallpapers posted, and one screensaver (for Mac or PC), but there’s a promise of more to come this week. The image above is for Victory of the Daleks; the others are The Hungry Earth, The Lodger, and Snowfall.

Visit the BBC Doctor Who site to grab these free downloads.

I had a hard time picking which image to put here, because they’re all great. It came down to Victory of the Daleks and The Hungry Earth, the latter of which has that vintage horror monster movie poster look, but ultimately, the Daleks won out (oh no!).

Which wallpaper do you like best?

    Why use the CareBear daleks?!

    Use the Ironside/scary Daleks!

Seriously…. Brightly colored, poorly formed, cozy, and probably made of the same stuff the Doctor’s Jelly Babies are made of….

Don’t buy into these warm fuzzy looking Daleks!
I see that episode as the death of the Daleks as a scary thing…. Now they are as laughable as … well… a man in a Yeti suit….
