Amazon has launched a new feature which gives Amazon Prime members free access to their Instant Videos selections.
The Amazon Prime service, which costs $79 per year, gives Amazon shoppers an unlimited amount of free two-day shipping on any size total order shipped through Amazon. Also, one-day shipping is only $3.99 per item. Now the service includes commercial-free, instant streaming of 5,000 movies and TV shows at no additional cost. You can stream the videos on your PC or Mac, as well as through Internet-connected TVs, Blu-ray players, and set-top devices.
If you sign up for Amazon Prime right now, you’ll get a one-month free trial of the service.
If you do a lot of ordering through Amazon and typically like your items to arrive quickly, then Amazon Prime can’t be beat. Add in the incentive of free movies and television shows, and I’d say you’re getting a real deal right now. It definitely gives Amazon the advantage over other streaming services like Netflix and HuluPlus, as Prime’s cost works out to under $7 per month for free video as well as free 2-day shipping on an unlimited amount of items.
You may have noticed that we're now AD FREE! Please support Geeks of Doom by using the Amazon Affiliate link above. All of our proceeds from the program go toward maintaining this site.
