Geek Art: ‘Blade Runner’ and ‘Lost’ Prints
  |

Over the past couple of months, I’ve really become interested in art prints. I’m a huge fan of everything Mondo does, but there are some other great prints out there that are worth your attention.

In honor of its first year of selling prints, Fro Design Co is doing one final run of Lost-inspired prints that helped launched its success. Each print reflects a different number in the famed 4,8,15,16,23,42 sequence of numbers while corresponding to one of the six seasons of the show. Each individual season print is 11×17 and is $25, while the entire set is $120.

Over at Nakatomi Inc, artist Anville is continuing his ‘Icons of Motoring’ series with a tribute to the police car from Blade Runner. The print, titled “The Canyons of San Angeles,” is selling for $35 and measures 18×24. Each print is signed and numbered by Anville. The print is available for pre-sale and will only be available until midnight on Friday, March 11th CST. The design is printed to order, but Nakatomi won’t sell more than 250 copies. It also comes in a Blue Shimmer paper edition for $75 and a Stainless Steel for $175.

I’ve already snagged a print from Fro Design and I’ll be grabbing Anville’s print as well. What do you think of each print?
