Trailer For MTV’s ‘Teen Wolf’ TV Series Is Not What You Expected
  |  @   |

A trailer has been released for the new MTV series, Teen Wolf, which of course is based on the ’80s title of the same name starring Michael J. Fox. Because of the association, many (myself included) just assumed that this was going to be some kind of wacky High School Musical deal with prepubescent tween werewolves. But to what could be considered great shock, the trailer for the new show doesn’t play anything like Fox’s van-surfing high school basketball hero version. In fact, it may actually look…somewhat decent.

Now, let’s now get too far ahead of ourselves. This new Teen Wolf still looks like a Vampire Diaries-level werewolf show, but it is a hell of a lot better looking than was once assumed. I can’t say I’ll be rushing to watch it myself, but you just might.

Be sure to click on over to the other side to watch the trailer for yourselves, and be sure to share your thoughts below!

  1. Looks like a cheaper version of that Twilight crap. But then again… it’s MTV.

  2. I’m not sure what is more pathetic. The fact that Hollywood is foisting yet ANOTHER pathetic werewolf/teen angst story on the world or that they have to reach into the IP bag and find any franchise that bears even the slightest resemblance to this crap and use the title.

Open comment to movie makers: Look you copy and paste monkeys, take 5 damn minutes and try to do something is at least doesn’t look like a blatant ripoff of all the other dribble on the market. Oh and stop using titles from a generation ago. Much like the Karate Kid, there is no resemblance in this series to its namesake, except the name.

This sort of nonsense could only happen on MTV. Well maybe A&E. Jerks.
