Watch Now: Darth Vader’s ‘Nooo!’ Re-Edited Into Classic Movies
  |

The good folks over at CineWeekly have posted a new video featuring the infamous Darth Vader “Nooo!” scream from Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith that was recently revealed to have been dubbed into the upcoming Blu-ray release of Return of the Jedi, but now re-edited into other classic films. You can watch the video here below.

The video features select scenes from the movies like The Wizard of Oz, The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, Casablanca, Dumb & Dumber, The Godfather, Field of Dreams, The Empire Strikes Back, E.T., Raiders of the Lost Ark, Reservoir Dogs, and Jurassic Park, all with the Vader yell included at inappropriate and occasionally appropriate moments.

Some of these bits are worth a few chuckles (especially early on in the video), but the entire video has about as much out-and-out hilarity as a Saturday Night Live sketch that runs too long.

The Darth Vader “Nooo!” squeal was one of the many low points of the Star Wars franchise. For fans who have been anxiously awaiting the release of this Blu-ray set to now be forced to endure the Vader character’s pivotal moment in the original trilogy be forever sullied by the needless inclusion of verbalized emotion only serves to add further toxicity to their decaying memories of the Star Wars movies. Me, I couldn’t care less. I have copies of the original, unaltered trilogy at my disposal and that’s good enough for me. The Star Wars Blu-ray sets will be huge sellers regardless of how much fan rancor they attract.

I do like seeing the T-Rex from Jurassic Park go all Vader pussy on us.
