Trailer For EA’s Video Game Remake Of Popular 1993 Title ‘Syndicate’ Released
  |  @   |

Publisher Electronic Arts has released a new announcement trailer for an upcoming title being developed by Starbreeze Studios (The Darkness, The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena), titled Syndicate.

Some of you old school gamers may recognize the title, as it’s actually a remake of the 1993 multi–platform game of the same name also published by EA and developed by Bullfrog Productions.

You can check out the trailer for Syndicate by clicking on over to the other side now!

Described as something of a mix between Crysis and Mass Effect, the game is set in 2029 where regions are controlled by massive corporations known as “syndicates” instead of politicians. The game is a first–person shooter, and you’ll play as a character with a special bio–chip implanted in your head that allows you to get to where you need to go and take out the enemies you face in many different and unique ways.

Now, they may compare the game to a combination of Crysis and Mass Effect, but as you will see, it looks alarmingly similar to the recent Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Even so, it still looks like a pretty darn fun game, but the eerily similar vibe is quite interesting.

What do you think?
