Watch The Trailer For Marvel’s ‘The Avengers’
  |  @   |

Marvel has released the trailer for their highly anticipated film, The Avengers.

Watch the trailer right here below.

The Avengers comes to theaters May 4, 2012. Directed by Joss Whedon, the film stars Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, and Samuel L. Jackson.

I don’t know about you, but at first I thought this was the trailer for Transformers 4. We do eventually get to see some assembly and a Scarlett Johansson hair flip (can’t have a chick in an action movie without one, can you?). Looks like Downey Jr. will be stealing the show on this one (not surprisingly). I just really have one thing to say about this movie so far: Please don’t suck, please don’t suck.

What do you think of the trailer?

  1. It looks really sweet, but the dialogue is atrocious… ugh.

  3. Dave…  be honest now…  are you REALLY going to see this movie for its dialogue?  Really?

  4. People will crucify this movie when it comes out.  It will be 2012’s “The Phantom Menace”, “Green Lantern”, or “Terminator Salvation”.  All 3 overhyped by the movie blogs and then torn down like whores after release with cries of ‘you raped my infancy’ or some such shit.

In all honesty, look beyond the blog hypes/criticisms.  Judge this one for yourself.  I will be doing that and I can guarantee you I will love this film.

Looks awesome and like a hell of a lot of fun.

  5. …I kinda am!

It’s Joss Whedon! He makes funny and intense happen with such beautiful harmony.

Dave, are you not a Whedon fan?

Do we have to have… The Talk?

  7. How the hell did you come to this conclusion? Besides that, Green lantern was a good movie, and salvation had it’s merits.

  8. Oh, I think you misread / misinterpreted my comment.  I like all the movies I mentioned, though the “common knowledge” of online reviewers who spout their opinions as ‘facts’ will crucify them.  That’s all I meant.
