The adventure of Lord Henry Baltimore continues.

In Baltimore: The Curse Bells #3, Lord Henry Baltimore finds himself in the middle of a supernatural ritual in which a pregnant woman is being sacrificed by a priest to raise a dead witch from beyond the grave. The ritual is completed and the witch is born again. The priest wants the witch to grant him the power to put a curse on the bells of a famous church which will give him the ability to control others around him. While Baltimore is captured by the priest’s men, there is a reveal that may answer a lot of Baltimore’s unanswered questions.

Baltimore: The Curse Bells continues to be an exciting and intense story. This issue, in particular, reveals the stakes that Lord Baltimore has been looking for all along.

I really enjoyed what this issue had to offer. The readers of this miniseries are halfway into this five-issue run and the story keeps getting better and better. The writing by Christopher Golden and Mike Mignola continues to impress me. I can tell that this story will have repercussions that will lead into future stories. The art by Ben Stenbeck is impressive. The mood is definitely represented in Stenbeck’s detailed pencils. The colors by Dave Stewart never disappoint. The colors bring life to this already unique and wonderful story.

If you haven’t been reading this miniseries, you should go back and find the first two issues. The story is fantastic and the art is great to look at. It’s a must-read!
