Six-Minute Gameplay Video For ‘Tom Clancy’s Rainbow 6: Patriots’ Released

Fans of first-person shooters are always happy to hear about a brand new Rainbow Six game, and Ubisoft has delivered with the announcement of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow 6: Patriots.

The game will see the Rainbow Six team having to deal with the True Patriots, a highly skilled revolutionary group who are willing to go to extreme measures to take down an American government they consider to be corrupted.

You can see a six-minute gameplay demo of Patriots by continuing on below.

The game looks phenomenally intense, and even seems to have some new interactive elements to give it a slight Heavy Rain touch.

Ubisoft thought the gameplay footage was going to be leaked and decided to give it a preemptive release, which is good news for us. The only negative is that the game won’t be released until 2013, so be aware that once you watch this you’ll be in for a painfully long wait.

Also worth note is the change from the usual Rainbow Six in the title to Rainbow 6. Perhaps it holds meaning, or maybe it’s a random thing?
