The biggest laundering job is underway and there’s trouble ahead for Jeff Sinclair.
In The Rinse #3, professional money launderer Jeff Sinclair is carefully making the correct moves to complete the most lucrative job of his money laundering career. Casino tycoon Steve Maxon is onto Sinclair’s plan and is feverishly attempting to end the lives of all that are involved in the laundering job. Maxon and his goons are the least of Sinclair’s worries since the IRS is also onto his current money laundering job.
The Rinse is one of those comics that continues to get better and better as the story progresses. The players are in place and the job is coming to a close end. Now the conflict begins as Maxon and his henchmen decide to derail the plan. The Rinse is a hell of a fun story to read every month. The characters are all being put in situations where the outcome could change at any minute. The Rinse brings surprises and suspense in one neat package.
The story by writer Gary Phillips continues to be a fun ride and is a very entertaining story by someone who is a fan of the crime genre. Phillips understands the rules of suspense and brings it to this enjoyable story. The art by Marc Laming is amazing as always and brings more life to an amazing story. With each issue, Laming’s art gets better and better.
The Rinse #3 was an overall fun and entertaining read. I’m definitely looking forward to what the rest of the series delivers and what Phillips and Laming have in store for readers next issue. Pick it up!
