‘Fright Night’ Remake Writer To Pen ‘Ouija’

This sucker will just, not, die.

THR is reporting that Marti Noxon is set to pen the newest draft of the screenplay for the upcoming project Ouija.

That’s right. The board game that aides youngsters in getting in touch with the other side is still hellbent on making its way to the big screen, this time, in the hands of the same scribe behind this year’s shockingly entertaining Fright Night remake.

The film, backed by Platinum Dunes, was recently ditched back in August, along with Monopoly, another Hasbro game that seemed on the outs, but has seemed to, for some reason, find a second life here. Personally, I have absolutely no hopes for this sucker, no matter how much I may be a fan of Noxon and her work. She’s a fantastic writer, and while there may be potential here, hope is non-existent in the eyes of this writer.

What do you think?
