Sick of seeing that same old, rehashed poster for the upcoming Drew Goddard-directed, Joss Whedon-penned Cabin In The Woods? Well, AICN has your answer.

The outlet has premiered the first true-blue poster for the new, and troubled, project, and it’s a beauty. Check it out here in full below.

Cabin has been one that’s been floating around for what seems like years now, and will tell the story of a group of friends who go to a “remote cabin in the woods,” and ultimately, “bad things happen.” Starring Kristen Connolly, Chris Hemsworth, Anna Hutchinson, and Richard Jenkins, the film is one of the more discussed flicks amongst genre fans given the pedigree, and despite its problematic history, it remains to be seen as to what to truly expect from the film.

Personally, I love this poster. I don’t have the highest expectations for the project, particularly because of its history, but this poster is damn good. I love the look and feel of the poster, so while it may be an uphill battle for this thing, it may be a hill that may not be insurmountable.
