It took paper artist Paul Jackson three weeks’ times and 50,000 folds of paper to recreate Disneyland Paris’ Sleeping Beauty Castle and the results are awesome.

After four weeks of planning for the project, Jackson used 20 different paper-folding techniques to create a 10-foot “pop-up” origami sculpture at the Pancras International station in London, England, where it’s currently on display.

The paper castle, which has 5,000 origami bricks on the walls and 300 origami cubes, each individually folded, was created for the launch of the Disneyland Paris 20th Anniversary brochure.

The Disneyland Paris paper castle will be on display at St. Pancras until December 10 and then at the FirstChoice Superstore in Crayford, Kent, where it will be on view until late next year.

Check out the short video here below that shows some of what it took to create this origami castle.
