Watch Now: Great Video Mashup Of ‘Doctor Who’ And ‘Star Wars Episode I’

Some of you may remember last year about this time, just before Christmas, we wrote about an awesome Doctor Who and Star Wars mashup video done by Rick Kelvington. The video got a lot of attention online, quickly becoming a favorite among fans, and was even mentioned in Doctor Who Magazine. Now, Kelvington is back, with a brand new mashup of the two universes, where Jedi Knights and Time Lords meet.

This time, Kelvington has distinctively taken on the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy – namely The Phantom Menace – inserting multiple Doctors in to various situations from Episode I. There’s some nice mix ups in the video that tie into meeting similar discussion and lines from both universes, and it’s wonderful seeing more Tom Baker in this one.

And not just Tom Baker”¦ but Tom Baker teaming up with David Tennant!!! How awesome is that?

I might also add that I loved the use of the first two Doctors, William Hartnell and Patrick Troughton, as holograms in this mashup. Marvelously done, and who wouldn’t want to see lightsabers in the hands of our favorite Time Lord?

If this isn’t enough for you, take a look at the end of the video – Kelvington has a Doctor Who and Back To The Future mashup planned to be published on Christmas Day, which will most certainly be worth a look.
