Creepy Quarterly cover exclusives

Our colleagues in chaos over at Dark Horse Comics were kind enough to give us an exclusive first look at two horrifically awesome covers from their upcoming Creepy comics! You can check them both out here below.

First up we’ve got Creepy Quarterly #8. This cover, which depicts one very unlucky individual’s encounter with a stake and some rope, was created by Richard Corben, whose work you’ll recognize from Creepy, Eerie, Hellboy, Jonah Hex, and most recently Men of War. The 48-page issue is set to hit the stands on April 4th, and features stories and art by Jeff Parker, Doug Moench, Rick Geary, Colleen Coover, Kelley Jones, and Richard Corben, as well as a throwback story from Bruce Jones and Bernie Wrightson!

If staked corpses and brick-skinned women wild women weren’t enough for you (you sick, sick people), we also have the cover for the upcoming Creepy Archives, Vol. 13, which shows us a perfect example of why you DO NOT disturb sleeping mummies. Volume 13’s cover originally appeared on Creepy Magazine issue #61 and was created by the inimitable Sanjulian. The 256-page collected edition will be in stores on June 20th, and features stories and art by Bill DuBay, Bruce Jones, Steve Skeates,Tom Sutton, Richard Corben, Bernie Wrightson, John Severin, Sanjulian, Ken Kelly, Jose Bea, and Leo Summers.

Check out both covers in their gory entirety here below…
