For the upcoming DVD and Blu-ray launch of The Muppets Disney has released a new promotional trailer that channels in more than a few ways another much-anticipated release, The Hunger Games.

I missed The Muppets in theaters last year so I’m anxious to catch the movie in the comfort of my own home. It’s good to hear that the big-screen comeback of Jim Henson‘s cherished creations did well enough at the box office for Disney to green-light a sequel, even though star/co-writer Jason Segel won’t be back next time due to a full dance card.

The Muppets will be available on DVD and Blu-ray on March 20, 2012.
