Any and all forthcoming Prometheus featurettes and trailers should now be considered spoilerish. If you are of the group that loves to see anything and everything about Ridley Scott‘s upcoming movie, then by all means watch the following featurette for Prometheus. However, if you are of the group that doesn’t like to be spoiled, then turn back now and read a different article (like this one about today’s new comic books!).
The new featurette (which you can watch here below), appropriately titled “Origins,” focuses on the search for the beginning of humanity and how their search leads them to the planet, which can spell the demise of the new space explorers. Ridley Scott, co-screenwriter Damon Lindelof, and actress Noomi Rapace talk about their experiences both in front and behind the cameras. But out of all the Prometheus featurettes we have seen in the past, this one seems to be the least bit spoilerly. Still the new Prometheus featurette is worth a look.
Fox will release Prometheus, starring Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Guy Pearce, Idris Elba, Logan Marshall-Green and Charlize Theron, on June 8th. Oh and Prometheus is rated R.
Here’s the official synopsis for Prometheus:
Ridley Scott, director of “Alien” and “Blade Runner,” returns to the genre he helped define. With PROMETHEUS, he creates a groundbreaking mythology, in which a team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.
