Jeremy Renner & Rachel Weisz Look Lost In New Photo From ‘The Bourne Legacy’
  |  @   |

Summer may be just starting, but the summer movie season is already in full swing. The Avengers helped kicked off the season with record-breaking numbers, and it isn’t even the end of May yet. But as May comes to a close, we can look forward to more upcoming summer movies like The Bourne Legacy. A new image from the film has popped up online and it features Jeremy Renner as the new Jason Bourne taking Rachel Weisz‘s mysterious character out of a dangerous situation. Although it looks like they want to go in opposite directions. Check out the full image below.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly – where the new image originated from – Weisz was mysterious and aloof when describing her character.

“What am I allowed to say? I think almost nothing at all.”

Weisz can NOT describe her character in The Bourne Legacy all she wants, but the picture alone pretty much says it all. But maybe there is more depth to her character than the photo lets on. She certainly has to be more complex than someone who gets caught up in Renner’s fugitive activities.

Directed by Tony Gilroy, The Bourne Legacy also stars Edward Norton, Oscar Isaac, Joan Allen, David Strathairn, Albert Finney, Stacy Keach, Scott Glenn, Corey Stoll, and Donna Murphy and is set to open in theaters on August 3rd.

  1. You stated above “A new image from the film has popped up online and it features Jeremy Renner as the new Jason Bourne taking Rachel Weisz’s mysterious character out of a dangerous situation”.  Jeremy Renner isn’t the ‘new’ Jason Bourne, his character name is Aaron Cross…just so you know :)   http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1194173/

Scroll down to Jeremy’s Role in the new movie.
