Doom Digest: Gary Oldman, The Amazing Spider-Man, Inception, Transformers, The Avengers
  |  @   |

Every day here at Doom HQ we receive tons of tips from our readers about really cool stuff from the world of geek, as well as promotional materials for new films, comic books, collectibles, and much more. While we do our best to bring you as much of it as possible, we don’t always have enough geek manpower available to cover it all on a daily basis. But we hate the idea of all of this really cool stuff wasting away in our inbox. How could we NOT cover it? Hence why we’ve resurrected our long-defunct column Bits Of Doom, now rebranded and revamped as Doom Digest, a collection of easily digestible bits of news, videos, photos, and other goodies.

Today: Gary Oldman‘s PSA against acting athletes, Michael Bay visits USH’s Transformers ride, The Avengers tops this year’s bloopers list, clips from The Amazing Spider-Man, and Inception done with LEGOs, plus Bits Of Doom.

The Avengers Tops 2012 Blooper List

According to Movie Mistakes, Marvel’s The Avengers tops the list for most bloopers in 2012’s movies so far, with 15 mistakes. For instance, there’s shots of Iron Man flying around the city with cuts on his forehead, yet later on we see him without the cuts. Read more, along with mistakes from more of this year’s movies over at Movie Mistakes.

To end today’s edition of Doom Digest, I give you this video that I found quite amusing from from multi-instrumentalist Arjen Lucassen for his song “Pink Beatles in a Purple Zeppelin” taken from his recently released concept solo album, Lost In The New Real. The video was mainly shot where Lucassen grew up, near the sea in Holland, and just by the title, you can tell what this song is about.
