The first DLC add-on for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is finally arriving for download later this very day.

The add-on, titled Dawnguard, follows a vampire ruler named Lord Harkon, who plans to use the Elder Scrolls to kill the sun itself. As the player, you can join the ancient order of the Dawnguard in hopes of stopping him, or, if you so choose, you can become a vampire lord yourself, and help Harkon to see the fires of the sun extinguished forever.

The DLC will be available in all English-language territories via Xbox Live for 1600 Microsoft Points, and will arrive other platforms at a later date.
