‘Looper’ Trailer: Joseph Gordon-Levitt Fails To Kill His Future Self and Pays For It
  |  @   |

A new international trailer for Rian Johnson‘s Looper has appeared online and it takes what we know about time travel and builds upon it with a very expansive story. Joseph Gordon-Levitt stars as a hit-man hired to kill targets sent from the future to his own timeline.

He takes the job in stride and gets paid very well. But all that comes apart when his future self is a target whom he fails to kill, forcing him to go on the run to kill his target and stay out of his employers’ sights.

Check out the trailer below.

Unfortunately the trailer reveals too much from the movie and although we now know a little more about the story, it just becomes too much.

But the intensity and drama is there, I just hope that the next trailer doesn’t reveal as much as this one, otherwise there would be no point to watch these movies.

Here’s a plot description

In the futuristic action thriller Looper, time travel will be invented – but it will be illegal and only available on the black market. When the mob wants to get rid of someone, they will send their target 30 years into the past, where a “looper” – a hired gun, like Joe – is waiting to mop up. Joe is getting rich and life is good”¦ until the day they decide to “close the loop,” sending back Joe’s future self for assassination.

Looper also stars Bruce Willis, Jeff Daniels, Emily Blunt, and will be released on September 28th.
