A common motif for Pixar is to put a couple of Easter Eggs that hark back to previous films and at least one that hints at next one. Brave is no different. But since it is set in medieval Scotland it was a bit hard to find the right moments to put these Easter Eggs in. Well, if you couldn’t find all of them — and yes there is more than one — we have the images right here. Continue below to check them out.
Of course spoilers will follow, so if you haven’t watched Brave yet, I suggest you turn back now. We also have a review of the film which you can check out.
If you have already clicked ahead and are reading this now it must mean you have already watched Brave or just want to be spoiled.
I am sure there are more than two, but these are the Easter Eggs we have been given. Now I has only able to catch the Pizza Planet Truck that sat idly by the Witch as she carved a bear like statuette from a block of wood. I was looking for this one in particular since Co-director Mark Andrews specified that the Pizza Planet Truck is in the film.
Now for the hint at an upcoming film. Again, this takes place in the Witch’s wood carving cottage, which seems like the most reasonable place to put all the Easter Eggs in without it being too obvious. As Merida pans the room, she sees a lot of other pieces that’s been carved from wood. You may notice one block that is etched and not carved. This is because the etching is actually Sully from Monsters Inc., who will appear in the upcoming Monsters University.
That’s it, but like I said, I am sure there are more Easter Eggs waiting to be picked.
