Anyone who’s a fan of Robert Kirkman‘s comic book The Walking Dead and the hit AMC series of the same name was given a jolt of excitement at the end of season 2 with the reveal of Michonne (being played by Danai Gurira) and the prison.

Last night on a special summer episode of The Talking Dead, season 3 of the show was previewed before AMC aired the pilot episode in black and white. Much was covered, offering us info on where the season was heading, a tour of the prison (and the immense detail put into creating it; stay tuned for more on that), and our first peek at Michonne in action.

NOTE: For some reason, after the preview aired on AMC, they decided not to put it on their website and anyone who’s uploaded it to YouTube is having to remove it, including the one we originally had here. Pointless, to show a preview and then not allow anyone to share it, yes. But I’m sure they have their reasons.
