‘The Dark Knight Rises’ IMAX BANE Poster And ‘Journey’ Trailer
  |  @   |

The Dark Knight Rises is just mere days away (eight, to be exact), and if you got the same tingling feeling from listening to the soundtrack as I did, then you are just as excited as I am to see this movie.

But that’s just a taste of the good stuff, what comes next is like the cherry on top. There’s a new IMAX poster and a “Journey” trailer, and you can check both of them out below.

Like all major blockbuster films that are released on IMAX before the stroke of midnight, there is a poster that will be also released at 12:01 on Friday night. This poster doesn’t focus on the hero, instead, but instead you get a face-to-face with Bane and his terrifying mask. It could just be me, but there’s a subtle bat that can be seen on the bridge of Bane’s eyes and nose.

Though studios wouldn’t normally release a trailer eight days before a release of a film, WB has a specially edited trailer that celebrates the journey of Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy. You’ll see some familiar scenes, but it all ends with Batman and Bane leading their factions to war. It’s all just so exciting.

The film stars Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Marion Cotillard, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. The Dark Knight Rises opens in theaters and in IMAX on July 20th.

  1. It’s not just you… I noticed the Batman symbol as well, and by examining other images of Bane’s mask, I’ve also noticed there’s not supposed to be exposed skin there so it’s very much intentional
