In yet another story of a universally heralded creator heading back to one of their most popular works, Terry Moore announced that he is returning to Strangers In Paradise in 2013.
Moore will be changing up his creative direction and celebrating the series’ 20th anniversary when he writes his first prose novel in the world of Strangers In Paradise. The characters in Strangers In Paradise are beloved by most who read them and will certainly be excited about this surprising turn of events.
I’m approaching 60 and I don’t want to be 65 with a monthly deadline for art pages. I’m thinking about my future — I can be 75 and still write. [The readers] have matured, so I would like to write a deeper, more introspective story.
Moore will be publishing the novel through his own publishing company, Abstract Studios, and allows the writer to move into his next stage as a writer. Moore announced that after current horror series, Rachel Rising, wraps, he’ll be moving into creating all ages comics.
