Watch Disney/Pixar’s Latest Trailer For ‘Monsters Inc. 3D’
  |  @   |

Next year Disney and Pixar will be releasing their first prequel to a classic title. Monsters University will follow Mike and Sulley’s days as students of a prestigious university before they started working for Monsters Inc. But before we can get to all of that, there is the matter of watching the original film all over again, in Monsters Inc. 3D. So relive the moments that made you laugh by watching the latest trailer for the film below. Also check out the awesome poster for the 3D re-release.

It’s easy to see why Disney and Pixar would be rereleasing their films in 3D. The eye-popping presentation is a huge gimmick that gives a boost to the film’s numbers, and Pixar has been doing very well by rereleasing previous hits. It also gives us a chance to see it on the big screen if anyone missed it when it hit theaters back in 2001.

The hilarious poster of Mike holding a lens of the 3D glasses up to his one eye debuted on Facebook. One thing’s for sure, he isn’t going to get the entire 3D effect.

Don’t expect anything special in Monsters Inc. 3D, as this will be just a simple rerelease, there are no deleted scenes added to the footage. The only thing that is new is the fact that it is in 3D. But just in case you don’t know, Mike (Billy Crystal) and Sulley (John Goodman) are the top scarers at Monsters Inc. But when a child accidentally stumbles onto their world, it’s up to them to save the child and send her back safely.

Monsters Inc. 3D will open in theaters on December 19th. So are you planning heading back to theaters to see this 3D release?
