‘Lincoln’ Sneak Peek: Steven Spielberg’s Vision Of Presidential Greatness
  |  @   |

This coming September 13th we will be getting our very first look at the theatrical trailer for Steven Spielberg‘s Lincoln. The film starring Daniel Day-Lewis as the titular character will focus on the last four months of Lincoln’s life as he tries to put an end to the Civil War and slavery. Google Play (which is now another outlet that will be vying for exclusive rights to releasing trailers) will be celebrating the release of this trailer with a Google+ Hangout with Spielberg and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

So before we can get into all of this excitement, DreamWorks and Disney has released a sneak peek of the trailer, which you can check out below.

We’ve seen Daniel Day-Lewis as President Lincoln through portraits and posters, but never seen his performance. This teaser, which contains snippets of The Gettysburg Address, doesn’t give us anything but some audio goodies. If anything, this teaser shows us that Daniel Day-Lewis will not sound like Daniel Day-Lewis.

Lincoln also stars Sally Field, Tommy Lee Jones, Jackie Earle Haley, Lee Pace, John Hawkes, Walton Goggins, Hal Holbrook, Tim Blake Nelson and David Oyelowo. The film opens in theaters for a limited run on November 9th, then it expands for a wide release on November 16th. Come back here this Thursday for the first look at Lincoln.

  1. The audio is NOT DD-L’s voice as Lincoln.

  2. Are you sure that is Daniel Day-Lewis voice on the teaser’s soundtrack? Some sources state that it is a different actor…

  3. —AGAIN????

Hollywood continues to BALK the unfolding
issue of its 4 decades of eager collusion in
predictive programming for the now unfolding
agenda for Globalist consolidation —and FINAL EUGENICS.

Spielberg continues to deliver stale, stale, stale PC moral
    alibis ——for himself.
