Honest Trailer Reveals The Truth About Joss Whedon’s ‘The Avengers’
  |  @   |

When the world was about to be overrun by Loki and the Chautari, Nick Fury rallied the world’s greatest heroes to stop them. At least the heroes that Marvel Studios still owns.

The day after The Avengers Blu-ray, DVD, and Blu-ray Combo Pack hit store shelves, the Screen Junkies team decides to poke fun at why there were so few heroes seen in The Avengers. Check out the brutally honest but also very hilarious video below.

I won’t bother detailing the video, because talking about it won’t do it any justice. Check it out. Credit to SceenJunkies for the funny video.

  1. This “Honest Trailer” was crap. There are no boring moments in The Avengers. The guy at the end is Thanos. And no, I didn’t have to ask someone or look it up.
Captain America is a cornerstone of Marvel and always the first hero thought of when anyone says Avengers. Iron Man is not a 2nd tier hero, he’s . Iron Man 2 was awesome.

  2. The makers of this clip apparently didn’t watch these movies very closely or at all. There is no contradiction of anything regarding Thor’s appearance here vs the end of the Thor movie. Loki did not come back to life – as he was never dead. Thanos is Thanos – the Mad Titan is one of the most interesting villains in Marvel Comics. Just because you don’t read comics doesn’t mean no one else does.

  3. The movie follows the basic story of Avengers #1 with the addition of the Black Widow. So what, exactly, is the big deal?

  4. Correction – The basic story is Avengers #1 with the addition of Captain America and the Black Widow. But still – what is the issue here?
