Bethesda Says ‘Skyrim’ DLC Could Finally Arrive On PS3 Soon
  |  @   |

PlayStation 3 users have been awaiting the arrival of DLC and add-on offerings for the hit Bethesda Softworks title, Skyrim, for a long while now. For whatever reasons, the company has been having great difficulties in getting the bonus content up to their quality standards, even to the point of not being sure if they’d ever been able to release it on PS3 systems.

Now comes word via Bethesda themselves that they may be close to cracking the code. Nothing is official yet, but they said via the Twitter yesterday: “To update: we’re also close on new Skyrim content for PS3 and PC.”

So far DLC content for Skyrim, including Dawnguard and Hearthfire, have been released first on Xbox 360 and later on PC. The latest release, titled Dragonborn, was just announced and will arrive on Xbox 360 December 4th.

We can only speculate at the moment, but it’s assumed that this means that the first two long awaited DLC releases could hit the PS3 in the near future (barring any new complications), with Dragonborn being released sometime down the road after December 4th.

  2. It’s a misprint. Bethesda meant PC and Xbox only. PS3 ain’t getting nothing. There’s a dark hatred with the Devs working on the PS3. They will abuse it somehow. Why don’t Bethesda just make games all of them exclusive to the Xbox and try to leave the PS3 alone, for God’s Sake!!
