Hot Lead, Cold Cash: How You Can Help Bring Life To A Western/Horror Comic
Monday, December 24th, 2012 at 2:00 pm
From the mind of Andres Salazar comes a western/horror comic worthy of the name. Pariah, Missouri is an excellent blending of an edgy “old west” story and a classic horror/suspense theme. Salazar is the creator/writer/colorist on this project with Jose Pescador heading up the artwork part of the series. With the first few pages spent developing characters and establishing their upcoming roles in this tale, we are given a chance to really embrace the mid nineteenth century and how violent it could be…especially when some of the people may not actually be people at all!
Not a whole lot is explained in the teaser pages on the Kickstarter site but it holds a lot of potential. But that potential needs your help! As with most things, it takes cold hard cash to get the job done. There are only a few days left but there are loads of gifts available for any who feel like lending a hand in getting this series produced.
I’m really wanting one of the shotglasses, to be honest. Or maybe a T-shirt! Regardless, it seems that everyone gets a free bookmark and 8×10 print with their pledge. How cool is that?!
But really, this is about making someone’s dream a reality. And you can help by donating whatever you can, every dollar counts. The more they have in the end, the cooler these books will be. Even if you don’t have much to give, I’m sure it is appreciated. So dig deep into your pocket (or sofa, recliner, what have you) and throw a little cash into the pot. The more you can spare, the cooler your gifts. And if anyone wants to donate in my name so I can have a recurring role in the series, it would be appreciated!
