Learn To Play 8 KISS Songs With This ‘Guitar Play-Along’ DVD
  |  @   |

The Hal Leonard Corporation has put out tons of guitar instructional videos over the years, and the 34th Volume in their Guitar Play-Along series will help you learn to play some KISS songs!

The Kiss – Guitar Play-Along Volume 34 DVD has 8 KISS songs that you can learn to play on guitar, which believe me, is a worthwhile endeavor. There’s various ways to watch and learn each tune; there’s a lesson given by a professional teacher, then the teacher performs each entire song along with recorded backing tracks. In this 100-minute DVD, you can play along with or without the guitar turned on, and there’s multiple viewing options as well: fret hand with tab, wide view with tab, pick & fret hand close-up, as well as other views.

The following songs are including on the DVD:

– Christine Sixteen
– Heaven’s on Fire
– I Stole Your Love
– I Was Made for Lovin’ You
– Lick It Up
– Love Gun
– Rocket Ride
– Shock Me

The fact that the Ace Frehley songs “Shock Me” and “Rocket Ride” are included would be enough for me to get this DVD. There’s also “I Stole Your Love” – amazing song, so rockin’ one of my favorites, as are “Christine Sixteen” and “Love Gun.” I wish something like this was out a hundred years ago when I was learning guitar because those Ace songs are awesome and fun to play. Then there’s “Lick It Up” – if you’ve heard this one before, then you know that you really don’t need the DVD to learn how to play this one, or the “solo” by Vinnie Vincent “solo” (I use the word solo lightly here); matter of fact, if you play guitar, you should be able to play “Lick It Up” two seconds after hearing it. Same thing goes for “Heaven’s On Fire,” in fact – both great tunes, but oh so simple. There’s also the song the German’s voted the Top Party Hit Of All Time, the band’s disco hit “I Was Made for Lovin’ You,” you never know when you’ll be at a partei with some Germans and have to bust this one out.

Once you learn to play these songs on guitar, go ahead and give yourself a round of applause, let’s go! Then be sure to pick up my best-selling video, How To Ad-lib Like Paul Stanley, to further help you emulate The Starchild, whoa yeah!

By the way, if you love KISS, like I do, there’s 10 KISS Albums On Sale For $5 Each right now.
