And now a little something for the younger reader. And I do mean younger. Every child loves to play hide and seek, right? Well this is hide and seek in book form. Like most look and find styled books, Can You See What I See: Out Of This World is chock full of hidden items and it’s up to us to discover where these random items are located.

The back of the book says it’s for “All Ages” but I’m pretty sure they meant it for the three to seven demographic…with a little help from any siblings, parents, etc. that might be around to throw in an assist. With well known photographer Walter Wick leading the way, children will have a blast searching for the people and items that are hidden in plain sight throughout the pages of this entertaining book.

The latest in a long series of puzzle books, this one revolves around the adventures of a time traveling robot. I have to admit, it’s cute the way we see some historic scenes mixed with futuristic ones under the guise of traveling through time. Nothing wrong with a bit of history mixed in with the fun. My daughter is nine and she still had fun finding the objects hidden in each photograph. Of course, she has long been a fan of this series and loved to do the same pages over and over back in the day. Or as she put it: back when she was “a little kid.”

Grab this one for your wee one. I swear, I’ve never met a kid that didn’t love these books. This one is just as perfectly put together as any of the others and it’s got a fun theme that will definitely appeal to any child. To be honest, I even did a few of the pages…just to test the fun factor, of course. A great gift for a birthday or for a car ride on your next family vacation, this is a surefire win in anyone’s book (pun intended).
