Mondo Unveils Exclusive Posters For Comic-Con 2013
  |  @   |

Comic-Con is the one place where geek collectors go mad, and if you like to collect pop culture art pieces, then you will no doubt be at the Mondo booth at this year’s convention in San Diego in just a few days, waiting in line to score an exclusive piece from them. This year won’t be any different from any other year, as Mondo will be releasing limited edition posters that you only can get at the con.

Artists like Drew Struzan, Martin Ansin, and Olly Moss will be there to sign their one of a kind pieces for those who are able to get them. They will be there to sign The Dark Tower, Conan the Barbarian, Spirited Away and Howl’s Moving Castle, respectively. There will also be four kinds of posters for Pacific Rim. But of course, that is only the tip of the iceberg. We should expect very big things to be happening over at the booth.

You can check out a preview of all of these posters, their specs, and their prices here after the jump.

Moss’ Howl’s Moving Castle, which debuted exclusively over at /Film, is scaled at 20″ x 36″, and is an edition of 225. The Spirited Away piece shares the size and edition. Each costs $90. If you wanted to get your hands on any or both of these, but can’t make it to the con, Mondo will put up the regular versions up for sale after Comic-Con.

Now for the Drew Struzan piece. His posters for Stephen King‘s The Dark Tower are an edition of 450 and are sized at 24″ × 36″, and will cost you $275.

Finally, Mark Ansin‘s Conan The Barbarian piece is also sized at 24″ x 36″. However, the regular is an edition of 450 and costs $50, while the variant is an edition of 225 and will cost $75.

Badass Digest posted Struzan’s poster and THR debuted Moss’ Spirited Away poster, while Collider revealed the Ansin’s Conan poster.

We will be sure to update you on any other exclusive releases should they come along, and believe me, they will.
