‘Game Of Thrones’ The Complete Third Season Exclusive Blu-ray Sets

Game of Thrones: The Complete Third Season is coming out on Blu-ray/DVD Combo and DVD on February 18, 2014, but as with previous home video releases for the HBO series, there will also be store-specific exclusive box sets for sale.
The limited edition Amazon Exclusive Blu-ray/DVD Combo + Digital Copy is up for pre-order now, though packaging details and images have not been released yet. But, coming on November 5, 2013, is an Amazon Exclusive Game of Thrones Seasons 1 & 2 with 3 Exclusive Funko Pop Vinyls Blu-ray/DVD Combo + Digital Copy set. See image of this packaging here below, which included the Funko POP Vinyls for Khal Drogo, Daenerys Targaryen, and Dany’s dragon Rhaegal.

For the Best Buy Exclusive Blu-ray edition for Season 3, also being released on February 18, 2014, consumers will have a choice of which packaging to purchase, one each featuring the sigils for House Stark, House Targaryen, and House Lannister. Visit the Best BuyGame Of Thrones page to pre-order the exclusives. The covers were chosen in a fan poll on Facebook that also included the “Character Edition,” which featured Season 3 poster art of series stars Peter Dinklage, Kit Harington, and Emilia Clarke, as well as a “Season 3 New Sigils,” which highlighted Houses Tyrell, Tully, and Stannis Baratheon. The original House Sigils won in what HBO referred to as a “landslide victory.”
No bonus feature details have been released yet for any of the Season 3 Blu-ray and DVD editions, so we’ll be sure to update you when they’re announced.
So many houses in the story and they recycle the ones from the previous seasons. Would have preferred a Tully or Tyrell to go with my existing seasons but clearly the people that missed out before wanted a second chance…now they’ll look the same as Seasons 1 & 2.
