New Patton Oswalt-Commissioned Sillof Action Figures Bring ‘Star Wars,’ ‘The Road Warrior’ Together
  |  @   |

Back in April we saw a new line of action figures from artist and custom toy maker/designer Sillof that was commissioned by geek god Patton Oswalt. That line was titled Faster, Empire! Strike! Stike! and combined the worlds of Star Wars and exploitation cinema director Russ Meyer’s Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!

As it turns out, after that first project Oswalt and Sillof began discussing a second commissioned project. Ideas were tossed around, and it was ultimately decided to take Star Wars into the post-apocalyptic wasteland of Mel Gibson’s 1981 sci-fi classic The Road Warrior for a line titled Road Wars.

You can see one image from the line above, but be sure to head to Sillof’s website for a description of the line, as well as full descriptions of each character. You can also find the artist’s many other Star Wars-inspired lines and various other lines at the site.
