Video: Conan O’Brien Pays Smurf-Haunted Harrison Ford $1,000 For ‘Star Wars Episode VII’ News
  |  @   |

Many talk show hosts who have the delightfully awkward Harrison Ford on as a guest these days have to bring up Star Wars Episode VII and what’s going on with the project…usually with hilarious results.

Ford was recently a guest of Conan O’Brien‘s, and the host did what was necessary to get any kind of Star Wars info he could: he bribed him with $1,000. While there, O’Brien also asked Ford about being haunted by the Smurfs, whose first movie opened on July 29, 2011 against his Cowboys & Aliens (with the latter barely inching out the weekend victory by about $1 million while on 355 more screens), and whose sequel is now in theaters against Ford’s latest, Paranoia.

See what Ford had to say about both topics in a pair of videos below!

And in case you’re wondering why Harrison Ford pointing is so funny in the Smurfs video, it’s because of this.
