Though the first Amazing Spider-Man did not really hint at it, the upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man 2 tells us that the series will culminate where the villains from the respective films band together to fight Spider-Man. Recently, Chris Cooper revealed that he only had a small role in the second film, which would be expanded upon in the third. Paul Giamatti also has a small role in the sequel, but it is suspected that he has signed on for at least one more installment.
Speculation of a Sinister Six team started when Sony announced that they would be releasing two more Amazing Spider-Man films. Course we won’t know if all if this is true until we see the movie itself, but should a villain die, it’s safe to say that he won’t be joining the six. But it seems that film star Jamie Foxx let slip the fact that Electro won’t die in the sequel. He also confirmed that there are talks of a Sinister Six hapening. Hit the jump to see what he had to say.
During the overseas White House Down press junket, Foxx talked to Total Film about Electro, and the possibility of seeing a Sinister Six team.
Yes, they actually talked about it, the Sinister Six. So, fingers crossed, because when you think about it, electricity never dies, it just goes to a different place.
So there you have it. There are talks of a Sinister Six film going on, and it looks like Electro doesn’t die – maybe he just gets stored into a power bank.
Directed by Marc Webb, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Chris Cooper, Paul Giamatti, Felicity Jones, Martin Sheen, Paul Giammatti, and Colm Feore. The film opens in theaters May 2, 2014.
I Called it. well I Don’t know how to feel other then that this film feels boring, so far I have called everything right. Lets just hope this doesn’t become Spider-Man 3.
