A new gameplay trailer has been released for The Evil Within, the upcoming survival horror game from the father of the genre, Shinji Mikami, the man who created Resident Evil. The game comes from Tango Gameworks, the Japanese arm of Bethesda Softworks parent company ZeniMax Media, and will be released some time in 2014.

Mikami will be showing off his new game at the Tokyo Game Show, and this new trailer was released for those of us who won’t be in attendance. You can see the trailer below.

As you can see, The Evil Within looks pretty darn creepy. Also worth noting: remember that nightmare lady-creature thingy we saw in the live-action trailer? This new trailer confirms that thing will be in the game. Should be just swell.
