Runners got to enter the 5th dimension during last night’s The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 10-Miler at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at the Disney World Resort in Orlando, Fl.

During the 10-mile nighttime race, participants ran through a course from Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park to the ESPN Wide World of Sports and then back again to the Studios through the Lights, Motors, Actionâ„¢ Extreme Stunt Show, along the New York Street on the backlot, past Mickey’s Sorcerer’s Hat at the top of Hollywood Boulevard, and then on to a finish at the Tower Of Terror.

The course was haunted by Disney Villains, and also filled with more Disney characters — like Tower Of Terror Bellhop Goofy — and other entertainment.

Along with the Tower of Terror 10-Miler this weekend was the family-friendly Disney Happy Haunted 5K Trail Run, which took place yesterday morning at the at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex on Disney property.
