Metallica Antarctica Concert Video: Watch The #FreezeEmAll Show Now!
  |  @   |

We told you about the Metallica #FreezeEmAll concert in held in Antarctica on Sunday and showed you some official photos released from the historic event.

Now, the entire concert, complete with behind-the-scenes footage, is now online! Watch the 86-minute pro-shot video here below.

The show helped Metallica earn a World Record for being the first and only band in history to perform concerts on all seven continents in under a year.

The heavy metal veterans — singer/guitarist James Hetfield, lead guitarist Kirk Hammett, drummer Lars Ulrich, and bassist Robert Trujillo — performed in a clear dome near the heliport of the Argentine Antarctic Base Carlini in an event sponsored by Coca-Cola Zero. Attendees, which included contest winners, employees from the contest-winner cruise, and scientists stationed on the frozen continent, listened to the live show through headphones and huddled close to the band, who played with no amplification.

Metallica played 10 original songs: Creeping Death, For Whom the Bell Tolls, Sad But True, Welcome Home (Sanitarium), Master of Puppets, One, Blackened, Nothing Else Matters, Enter Sandman, and Seek & Destroy.

Along with the video of the full set is an official 90-second video interview with the band that contains some “non-headphone” concert footage.

The show helped Metallica earn a World Record for being the first and only band in history to perform concerts on all seven continents in under a year.

Check out the official Metallica shop for a limited-edition Antarctica t-shirt and collectors picks, featuring artwork by Tony Squindo.
